About Business Thursdays: Business Thursdays Hanoi is a networking event taking place every second Thursday of the month. This is a great opportunity to network, meet foreign and local business executives, exchange business information and news, and introduce your company’s products and services.

The event is jointly organized by eight different business associations:

• British Business Group in Vietnam (BBGV)

• German Business Association in Vietnam (GBA)

• French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Vietnam (CCIFV)

• Central and Eastern European Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (CEEC)

• Eurocham Vietnam

• Indian Business Chamber Vietnam (Incham)

• Italian Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (Icham)

• Singaporean Business Association Vietnam (SBAV)

This is a monthly social event and the get-together of the German speaking community (with non-German speaking partners and friends) in HCMC.

Free entrance for everyone, casual atmosphere, drinks at happy hour price and complimentary finger-food!

The GBA Business Meeting is held on the first Monday of every month, and alternatively takes place at five-star hotels in HCMC. The Meeting Chairman will invite at least three guest speakers to deliver a presentation about updates on interesting topics like business, tax and labor law.

After the Meeting, there will be a buffet dinner which is a networking opportunity for the participants.

Exclusive round-table event with a high-calibre speaker to present a current topic of that is interesting or challenging for the German business community. Participants will have the opportunity to openly discuss and exchange issues in an intimate round. Limited capacity, RSVP mandatory.

An excursions for members and business partners to visit our member company's factory, laboratory or production plant.

Oktoberfest Vietnam is expected to welcome more than 8,000 guests, representing the local and expat business community.

The German Business Association (GBA) and the Delegation of German Industry and Commerce in Vietnam (GIC/AHK) host and celebrate the event under the patronage of the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Hanoi and the German Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City.

With our own unique Oktoberfest in Vietnam we create the authentic atmosphere found in the massive beer halls of the original Oktoberfest in Munich, rounded out with savory German cuisine, premium imported German brews and a great party mood with very authentic Bavarian music from our Munich-based Oktoberfest Band.

The German Job Fair 2015 was the first large-scale German Job Fair in Ho Chi Minh City on occasion of 40th Anniversary of Diplomatic Relation between Vietnam –Germany with its objectives to increase employer brand awareness for German firms in Vietnam, strengthen the corporate branding by contributing to the development of potential talents as well as to create a recruitment platform of potential candidates for German firms.

This was attracting more than 2,000 students, young professionals, and more than 30 prestigious brands to participate in this event. Joining in the exhibition, companies offered about 500 employment opportunities for students and young professionals in Vietnam.

Participants not only explored specific career opportunities with HR specialists representing German companies, but also learned about German education, German working styles, and got valuable sharing from successful German business leaders and alumni in Vietnam
