The mission aimed to explore new investment opportunities and promote German–Vietnamese cooperation in Central Vietnam.
The delegation was warmly welcomed by Da Nang authorities, including the Department of Foreign Affairs (DOFA) and the Department of Planning and Investment (DPI), for high-level discussions on economic development, industrial infrastructure, and sustainable growth.
Strategic site visits to leading German firms such as Groz-Beckert, DRÄXLMAIER, Kärcher, and ROBINSON Nam Hoi An underscored Germany’s strong and diversified footprint in Central Vietnam. From precision engineering and automotive components to green manufacturing and tourism services, these companies exemplify long-term German investment and collaboration in the region.
The visit also reinforced Da Nang’s vision to become a regional hub for technology and logistics—fueled by infrastructure upgrades, port expansion, semiconductor investment, and a growing focus on high-tech talent.
Despite current challenges like workforce limitations and infrastructure gaps, the shared commitment between German businesses, Da Nang, and Quang Nam sets a strong foundation for future-oriented, sustainable growth in Central Vietnam.
