Long An liegt strategisch günstig in der Nähe von Tien Giang, Dong Thap, Tay Ninh und HCMC, mit Kambodscha im Osten, und verfügt über ein ausgedehntes Netz von Flüssen und Kanälen mit einer Länge von 8.912 km. Verankert durch die Flüsse Vam Co Dong, Vam Co Tay und Soai Rap, dient es als wichtiges Tor für Hersteller und Logistik und erleichtert den Handel mit HCMC. In der ersten Hälfte des Jahres 2023 wuchs das Bruttoinlandsprodukt von Long An um 3,43 %. Die Wirtschaftsstruktur umfasst über 16% in der Landwirtschaft, fast 51% in der Industrie und im Bauwesen und über 27% im Dienstleistungssektor. Die Auszahlungsquote liegt landesweit auf Platz 5.

Tay Ninh - New Industrial hub in the South
Tay Ninh is on its way to become a truly industrialized province. It lures investors with its large land bank at reasonable prices as well as the sufficient labor availability and relatively low labor costs compared to other established provinces in the South. In cooperation with the Sai Gon VRG Investment JSC – which is a locally invested company operating four industrial zones in Vietnam. Its largest project “Phuoc Dong” is located in Tay Ninh.
