Technical Workshop on Green Hydrogen Technologies and Applications

The event is held in English and Vietnamese with simultaneous interpretation.

The Technical Workshop on Green Hydrogen Technologies and Applications brings together key stakeholders from industry, government, and international cooperation to provide training on the latest developments in Vietnam’s green hydrogen sector.

Building on the previous event in April, the workshop will feature the latest trends in hydrogen safety, digitalization, and regulatory frameworks in Vietnam, presented by industry experts from the private sector.

The afternoon session will focus on international best-practice cases from recent and ongoing PPP hydrogen projects, including applications in e-fuels and green ammonia. These examples offer insights into their potential replication for companies and stakeholders interested in Vietnam’s hydrogen economy.

Objective of the Event

• Provide technical insights into hydrogen technologies, including digitalisation, safety, and regulatory frameworks
• Present international best-practice cases from ongoing PPP hydrogen projects and their replication potential in Vietnam
• Promote exchange between industry, policymakers, and experts on hydrogen applications and market development
• Foster business opportunities and collaboration in Vietnam’s emerging hydrogen sector

The event is co-hosted by the Delegation of German Industry and Commerce in Vietnam (AHK Vietnam) under the International Hydrogen Ramp-up Programme (H2Uppp) in Viet Nam, which is funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWE) and implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ).
