The ASEAN (Association of Southeast Nations) market – which combines Thailand, Cambodia, Myanmar, Malaysia, Indonesia, Lao, Vietnam, the Philippines, Singapore and Brunei – is one of the world’s fastest growing markets with a population of around 670 million. Many companies have recognized the benefits of shifting their supply chains to the ASEAN region, as this region plays an increasingly important role in global production and trade. In times of intensifying geopolitical crises, Southeast Asia will also gain in importance for German and European companies - be it as a sales or procurement market or as a distribution or production location.

The ASEAN Forum 2023 puts the spotlight on the following questions:
