The biggest German networking event in Asia-Pacific on 13 - 14 November 2022 in Singapore

After hosting the Asia-Pacific Conference of German Business (APK) in October 2020 as APK digital, we are pleased to announce the next regular APK. It will take place in Singapore from 13–14 November 2022 and will welcome several hundred participants. The conference's objective is to provide a platform to deepen the dialogue on current economic developments in Europe and the Asia-Pacific region as well as to build and strengthen personal and economic ties.

About the Event

After about two years of experience with the pandemic, the two conference chairs – APA Chairman Roland Busch and German Minister for Economic Affairs and Climate Action Robert Habeck – together with the APA’s sponsoring associations and the Asia-Pacific Chambers of Commerce Abroad, have decided to hold a physical APK in the region again this year.

In its Indo-Pacific Guidelines, the German Government recognized the conference as the most important German business and networking event in Asia-Pacific and announced its political upgrading in the coalition agreement. We are pleased that the German Federal Chancellor Olaf Scholz has confirmed his participation on site as keynote speaker.

In order to manage the risk in the best possible way under the current circumstances, Singapore was chosen as conference location: In addition to the strong local presence of German companies, Singapore’s regional hub function, the highly developed conference infrastructure, also with regard to the necessary hygiene measures and the current entry regime, all speak in favour of the city state in ASEAN.
