The “Außenwirtschaftstag” AWT is the largest conference in North Rhine-Westphalia for companies on international business. It is organized every two years by IHK NRW e.V., whose members are the 16 chambers of industry and commerce in NRW. It offers a top-class and varied program of lectures, discussions, individual consulting opportunities, networking opportunities, and an accompanying trade exhibition.

The AWT was last held in Düsseldorf in 2023 - with almost 900 participants, more than 40 speakers, 6 expert panels, 2 panel discussions, 15 sponsors, and over 60 exhibitors. Highlight: AWT visitors' countless one-on-one discussions with experts from the German Chambers of Commerce Abroad from over 50 countries.

The next AWT will be held on June 25, 2025, in the "BORUSSIA-PARK" stadium in Mönchengladbach. The project manager is the IHK Mittlerer Niederrhein.
