Partnering in Business with Germany, previously known as the "Manager Training Programme", is a program for international business cooperation run by the Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Action (BMWK). As an instrument of German foreign trade promotion, the program has been bringing together decision-makers from the business world for 25 years to establish long-term, cross-border economic cooperation. The program is implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ).
The program aims to successfully initiate business between SMEs from Africa, Asia, Latin America, the Middle East, and Eastern Europe and German companies - a win-win situation for everyone involved.
To date, more than 17,000 foreign companies have taken part in the program and have been prepared for market entry in Germany. They have established individual contacts (B2B) with German companies, which in turn want to open up foreign markets.
This has resulted in long-term business relationships and a global network of internationally active SMEs that can now be built upon.
Based on this network, the IHK Pfalz is organizing a webinar in cooperation with the AHK Vietnam, the "Business Scouts for Development" program of the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), as well as the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) and the GIZ VCCI Alumni Network (GVA). New collaborations will be initiated and existing points of contact for considering Vietnam as a new procurement or sales market will be presented.
The GVA brings together around 800 managers from Vietnam who have completed the program. They work as independent entrepreneurs or hold leading positions in Vietnamese companies and regularly look for business contacts in Germany. Three German and three Vietnamese companies will present themselves in the webinar. In addition, participating companies will be given access to other cooperation partners for whom there is no room for presentation during the webinar due to time constraints.
In the course of the event, we are looking for three German companies from the manufacturing industry to present themselves with a short pitch at the online event. Selection will be on a first-come, first-serve basis, meaning that the first three companies whose forms we receive will be contacted. All others will be placed on a waiting list and will have the opportunity to share their details on a list that will be shared with the event participants.
