Over recent years, Vietnam's investment landscape has thrived. Its stable political climate, robust economic growth potential, and favorable investment environment have made the country a magnet for firms. Lately, the Northern provinces have become more attractive to foreign investors. 

For that reason, AHK Vietnam together with Thai Binh People’s Committee and GBA Vietnam will organize an excursion to Hai Phong and Thai Binh province and Hybrid Conference on Investment Opportunities for German companies in Thai Binh province on 27th – 28th June to present the cooperation and investment opportunities available in the two provinces.   

About VinFast Hai Phong  

VinFast automobile factory was built in a 365 hectares area in Cat Hai Island, Hai Phong province. The company assembled talent from multiple established companies and sourced European design, engineering, and production technology partners. Furthermore, VinFast has become the first OEM factory in Viet Nam with Technology from Germany. 

About Thai Binh province 

Thai Binh is a coastal province in the Red River Delta Vietnam, adjacent to the northern key economic region (Hanoi - Hai Phong - Quang Ninh). With a vast array of advantages such as geographical location, young, abundant, well-trained human resources, large area of land for industrial development, modern infrastructure, inter-regional transport network being synchronously invested, dynamic local authorities with effective administration that facilitates businesses; friendly residents, Thai Binh province has created a favorable environment for investors to invest.

• 18:00 – 21:00: Gala Dinner in Thai Binh Province   

DAY 2: Wednesday, 28th June 

• 09:00 am – 12:00 pm: Hybrid Conference on Investment Opportunities for German companies in Thai Binh province  
• 13:30 pm – 15:00 pm: Excursion to Green I-Park Thai Binh 

Participants: Representatives of national and provincial authorities, representatives of German Embassy, AHK Vietnam, GBA Vietnam, local companies and association.
