This September, we had the pleasure of once again traveling across Germany to meet companies curious about Vietnam’s growing role in global supply chains. From Halle (Saale) to Munich, Magdeburg to Nuremberg, our Chief Representative, Peter Kompalla, engaged with businesses at events like the 16th Mitteldeutscher Exporttag and ASEAN-focused consulting days — sharing what makes Vietnam one of Southeast Asia’s most promising markets today.
These visits are part of our broader effort to bring Vietnam closer to you. Instead of waiting for companies to come to us, we come to you — offering practical, firsthand insights on sourcing, production, and long-term investment opportunities. Whether it’s navigating regulatory landscapes or finding reliable local partners, we aim to provide the on-the-ground knowledge needed to get started with confidence.
There is a real appetite for diversification and resilience, and Vietnam is increasingly seen not just as an alternative, but as a strategic choice. With its young workforce, green transition, and expanding infrastructure, the country is ready for deeper industrial partnerships.
If you didn’t catch us in September, no worries — we’ll be back in Germany this November with more events and opportunities to connect. We’d love to meet you there.
A warm thank you to all our partners from the IHK network, including Halle-Dessau, Niederbayern, Stuttgart, as well as the Deutsch-Vietnamesische Gesellschaft and many more who supported this journey. It’s through these collaborations that we’re able to build bridges and open doors — together.
