The International Hydrogen Ramp-up Programme (H2Uppp)

On behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWE), the project “Implementation of the International Hydrogen Ramp-up Program” (H2Uppp) promotes green hydrogen (GH2) and Power-to-X (PtX) projects along the entire value chain in Vietnam – from production and transport to end use.

The aim is to implement projects in collaboration with German, European, and Vietnamese companies through public-private partnerships (PPPs) and to develop sustainable business models.

A flagship initiative is the Green Hydrogen Hub Vietnam, hosted at the Vietnamese-German University (VGU) and supported by a strong corporate network, including GIZ, AHK Vietnam, and a consortium of international and Vietnamese companies.
