The Asia-Pacific Conference of German Business (APK) 2026 is the flagship platform of German business in the Asia-Pacific region. As a biennial high-level conference, it brings together leading representatives from business, politics, and institutions to exchange on strategic developments shaping economic relations between Germany and the Asia-Pacific region.
Jointly organized by the Asia-Pacific Committee of German Business (APA), the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWE), and the German Chambers of Commerce Abroad (AHKs), the APK serves as a central forum for dialogue on global economic trends, geopolitical developments, and future-oriented cooperation. The 2026 edition in Seoul is expected to welcome around 1,000 participants from Germany and across the Asia-Pacific region.
The conference will feature high-level political participation, including the German Federal Chancellor, significantly enhancing the political relevance and international visibility of the event.
The conference programme focuses on key strategic topics, including:
- Industrial transformation and innovation, including industrial AI
- Resilient and diversified supply chains
- Sustainable economic cooperation and industrial development
- Geopolitical and geo-economic developments in the Asia-Pacific region
