PPP Launching & Technical Workshop on Green Hydrogen and Its Derivatives

The event is held in English and Vietnamese with simultaneous interpretation.

The PPP Launching & Technical Workshop on Green Hydrogen and its Derivatives brings together key stakeholders from industry, government, and international cooperation to explore the latest developments in Vietnam’s green hydrogen sector.

The event will feature the official launch of a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) project supporting green hydrogen development in Vietnam. The PPP will be signed between NEUMANN & ESSER, PetroVietnam Gas (PV Gas), and Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ).

Following the signing ceremony, a technical workshop on green hydrogen and its derivatives will provide further insights into this emerging sector.

The afternoon session will focus on international best-practice cases from recent and ongoing PPP hydrogen projects, offering insights into their potential replication for companies and stakeholders interested in Vietnam’s hydrogen economy.

Objective of the Event

• Host the official PPP signing ceremony with NEUMANN & ESSER, PetroVietnam Gas (PV Gas), and GIZ
• Provide detailed technical insights into hydrogen production, applications, and safety
• Present ongoing and upcoming global Public-Private Partnerships in the field of green hydrogen and potentials for replication in Vietnam
• Promote business opportunities and collaboration in Vietnam’s emerging hydrogen market

The event is co-hosted by the Delegation of German Industry and Commerce in Vietnam (AHK Vietnam) under the International Hydrogen Ramp-up Programme (H2Uppp) in Viet Nam, which is funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWE) and implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ).
