1. About Vietnam
In recent years, Vietnam has established itself as one of the world’s most dynamic growth markets. The country is positioned at the centre of the global economy and has concluded free trade agreements with 60 countries, including the European Union. Due to increasing uncertainties in China and favourable conditions in law, HR, and geography, Vietnam has become an attractive location for sourcing and investment (including automotive, metal processing, and electronics). The strengthening middle class and the growing economy also give Vietnam greater importance as a sales market (including mechanical engineering, chemical products, and consumer goods). “Made in Germany” products enjoy an excellent reputation and are accordingly popular.
2. About the Speaker
We have invited Mr Björn Koslowski from AHK Vietnam as our speaker, who will advise you on the opportunities and provide important tips for entering or expanding your business activities in Vietnam.
Björn Koslowski has been Deputy Delegate of German Business in Vietnam since 2015 and heads the services division and the Hanoi office there. After training as an industrial clerk, he studied international management with a focus on Japan in Bremen. From 2008 to 2012, Björn Koslowski worked as a consultant at AHK Japan before moving to the AHK network of DIHK in Berlin as a project manager.
3. About AHK Vietnam
For more than 30 years, AHK Vietnam has been supporting German companies with market entry and the expansion of market activities. Employees at the locations in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City represent the interests of German business in Vietnam. Each year, they support more than 700 companies, for example by providing initial information, finding customers, suppliers, and investment locations, as well as gathering market information. Furthermore, AHK Vietnam is currently implementing projects in dual vocational training and in the recognition of foreign professional qualifications.

In a 45-minute one-on-one meeting with Mr Björn Koslowski from AHK Vietnam, you have the opportunity to discuss your chances and challenges in Vietnam, various options for engagement, and the sales prospects for your products.
