What is Mechatronics?

The development of science and technology increase more and more demands on the operation and function of machinery. To fulfil the requirements of the mechatronics era, Mechatronics was developed on the basis of the combination of mechanical, electrical, electronic and informatic industries. Mechatronics specialists will assemble the components into the systems according to the schematic and design drawings as well as inspect and supervise the operation of these systems. The mechatronics technicians demand of the labor market has been increasing. After graduation, the apprentices of Mechatronics have the opportunity to work in factories or manufacturing companies with automatic machinery systems.

The content of the training program

The vocational training program in Mechatronics according to the standard of German DIHK includes the following main contents:

• Analysis of functional relationships in mechatronic systems
• Manufacturing of components of the mechatronic system
• Installation of electrical equipment, taking into account technical safety aspects
• Understand the flow of energy and information flow in electric, pneumatic, hydraulic modules
• Communication uses data processing systems
• Establish and organize work processes
• Make simple electronic components
• Design and manufacture of mechatronic systems
• Investigating information flow in complex mechatronic systems
• Planning the assembly and dismantling
• Operation, fault finding and repair
• Preventive maintenance
• Handing over mechatronic systems to customers

Necessary abilities

• Familiar with related fields of engineering
• Good at natural science (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry)

Training time

The training program takes from 28 months to 42 months depending on the company in charge of the training.

Certificate

After graduation, the apprentices will be handed German DIHK-GIC/AHK Vietnam certificate from German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GIC/AHK Vietnam). In addition, in cooperation projects with LILAMA2 International Technical College, apprentices will receive Vietnamese diploma of vocational college issued by LILAMA2.
