Industrial Fashion Tailor

Industrial Fashion Tailor can work at factories with different specialized positions such as:

• Production managers such as Supervisor, Head of Production
• Technical designer
• Working in quality department or textile production

The content of the training program

• Specialized knowledge of Industrial Fashion
• 4.0 Technology including CAD, 3D design software
• Combine theory with practice in real life
• Soft skills training, management skills
• Improve foreign language skills

Necessary abilities

• Multi-dimensional and professional knowledge to update, adapt the new technology
• Teamwork as well as individual work

Training time

The training program takes 3 years with 50% practical time at the company and 50% theoretical time at the university.

Recruitment process

The apprentices of this dual vocational training program are 3rd students of Hanoi University of Science and Technology, majoring in Garment Technology and Fashion Design. They will have to take the exam to qualify the necessary skills.

The first training batch started in 2017 in cooperation with van Laack Asia Co., Ltd and Hanoi University of Science and Technology has completed in 2020 with 21 graduated.

Certificate

After graduation, the apprentices will be handed German DIHK-AHK Vietnam certificate from Delegation of German Industry and Commerce in Vietnam (AHK Vietnam). In addition, they will receive Vietnamese diploma issued by partner university.
